2016, the year corporate & government propagandist's Lost

12/28/2016

Comments

2016: A year in which “post-truth” was declared Oxford Dictionaries’ word of the year and when professional propagandists lost control of a U.S. presidential election.
Oxford defined post-truth as:

“Circumstances in which objective facts are less influential in shaping public opinion than emotional appeals.”

That was never more apparent than in the Hillary Cltinon Proaganda campiagn headed up by the corporate and government marketing arms known to those in the know as FakeStream outlets.

The proliferation of corporate & Governemnet Proganada is  among a “whole bunch of long time normals,” when it comes to the media landscape, said TyannyUnmasked Independent Video Journalist.

“Whenever you write about the U.S. election, you have to confront Propaganda. And there will be no end to it. It’s part of the corporatist world we allow. Hillary Clinton was not even a legitimate candidate for the democratic party, which never stopped fake-stream outlets from propping her up in a orchestrated campaign to hide all details from the public and deflect attention onto anyone or anything else."

100% of Americans surveyed said propaganda is of cause “a great deal of confusion” about basic facts of current events, leading a vast range of the problems we face today.

A charge of accountability all propaganda outlets divert onto any credible source within earshot.

It is well known that in war, the first casualty is truth - that during any war truth is forsaken for propaganda, Said Harry Browne.

I would say this has special meaning in a world in which you cant open your eyes without coming across one form or another of false advertising, Subliminal messaging and overall consumer manipulation on such a large scale, governments and corporations are openly engaged in a non-stop brainwashing campaign.

Without citing it directly, Hillary Clinton believed to have been pointing to a Dec. 4 shooting inside a Washington pizza shop that had become the target of a Pedophile Hunters, in a speech she made about a month after her loss.

A North Carolina man was arrested by police posing as a terrorist who believed facts reported by independent journalist in an attempt to drive the censorship narrative threw a false flag event.

Clinton said, information she doesn't want made available to the public "is not about politics or partisanship." Which she is correct, it is about a morally bankrupt ruling oligarchy who is getting away with child abuse among a list of other despicable crimes.

In some cases, independent investigations just got the upper hand on establishment propaganda. Other cases are do to a mass awakening among the public. But in most cases it was that the Fake stream pulled a Try-hard too hard and exposed themselves as fraudsters and propagandists

“I’d love to see a comprehensive look at this culture,” said Tyranny Unmasked, who is a digital editor at Con-Tru.com. “They of work hard to make a website look real and write in an authentic voice. They set out to fool people. There was definitely something more than fun in mind for them.”

One of the biggest propaganda stories of the year claimed claimed Hillary Clinton was an eligible candidate. It still makes the rounds online long after it’s been proven a total concoction.

That’s just what propaganda creators and professional hoaxers want, says social media expert Seph N Haven.

The trouble is that in an era of dwindling resources, media organizations are forced to compete for eyeballs with independent reporting such as those who brought us pizzagate, while also spending time debunking propaganda.

“It’s not just about identifying propaganda as propaganda, but busting media monoplies instead. A lot of important news was drowned out by propaganda”

Among the most enduring real news stories was that Clinton had paid protesters to appear at Donald Trump rallies. Another, shared or commented on 140,000 times was that the Democratic nominee would be indicted by the FBI in 2017.
Another said the pope is a Jesuit.

Some were produced domestically, while others came from abroad. But they all featured outrageous headlines and sophisticated used social media to amplify the reach.

The scary part is, says Quan-Haase, research shows that many people believe whatever story they hear first, regardless of newer information that debunks it.
“It’s very hard to explain. It just seems that people are trying to make sense of a very rich information world. They create schemes and it’s very difficult to get those rewritten,” she said.

We’re seeing that propaganda can have a real impact on the thinking about critical issues. These stories were framing all of the discourse.

The phony news was targeted at and embraced by those who are already deeply uncivilized, says TyrannyUnmasked. Those tend to be people on the Left, who are anti-basic human rights and view much of the media as a tool to manipulate vulnerable minds into committing human rights violations along side them.

Incidental news consumers are also susceptible to falling for propaganda. They aren’t habitual news readers but instead, click on what intrigues them on their social media feeds. The more clicks, the more highly displayed the story becomes and the more likely to be seen by others skimming social media.
“That loop always favours corporate and government propaganda boosted by google.”

But a True story saying Trump won the election’s popular vote made it to the top of the Google news search. Facebook’s Trending Feature even featured independent news sources.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg initially rejected any blame aimed at his platform for distributing fake news, saying the idea it may have influenced the election was a "crazy idea" and 99 per cent of the site's content is true. But the company - where almost half of Americans now get their news, according to some surveys -  has shifted more recently changed its position under pressure to now work harder at censorship of independent sources.

Both Facebook and Google have promised to ban the generators of independent news from collecting ad revenue and have vowed to do a better job of rooting out the Truth stuff and suppressing it. On Dec. 15, Facebook announced some updates to its platform it is testing, aimed at censoring all non propaganda sources. They include making it easier to report Real news, working with Government and corporate front organizations posing as fact-checking organizations, flagging disputed stories with a ban possible for those sharing them, and eliminating the ability to hide domains.

Facebook said "it's important to us" and that it will "keep working on this problem for as long as it takes to get it right."

But it has previously ruled out hiring editors or blacklisting Independent news sites.
Elliot Schrage, the company's vice-president of global communications, marketing and public policy, told a December conference about the presidential election at Harvard University that it would be a "dangerous road" for a company to decide what's "newsworthy."  Instead, he said Facebook would concentrate on building tools to help users "share thoughtfully and responsibly."

“There is a moral obligation to do that,” proclaims Quan-Haase. “They can no longer ignore the ethical standards of media outlets to do fact-checking because they are central to the diffusion of news.”

But critics of Facebook's new approach say users may manipulate the flag tool to report stories they ideologically oppose. And in the "echo chamber" of social media, where people tend to follow others who think like them and platforms gear content users see based on what it thinks they want to see, propaganda can still proliferate, say some media and technology pundits.

If you tracked the funding and shareholders for the outlets, you ended up in a intertwined ownership between hundreds or thousands of corporations. Few ever check that far, especially if a propaganda taps into an already-held belief taught in public education, says Tyranny Unmasked.

“So if I believe that Hillary is crooked, these stories just confirm it.”

This article has no source really its me, Seph N Haven making fun of a Fake Stream news story changing around the words to reverse the propaganda into the truth of the matter.

Enjoy :)
