Why does North Korea want Nukes?

​Many have asked me why North Korea doesn’t just give up their Nukes and be done with the U.S war hawking. Well you see, North Korea does not have nukes for the purpose of Offensive and in fact it is almost impossible to use them in such a manner with the amount of anti nuke systems around them. 

​North Korea, just like Iraq, just like Libya and just like Syria have been a target of the west for regime change for a long time. All of these countries however had WMDs, which makes invading a very hard task with high risk to losses, making public support impossible. Iraq, Libya, and Syria all overtime due to pressure gave up their WMDs which resulted in western invasions of their countries. Syria being the last one of those still holding on with their country nearly leveled. North Korea holds a Trump card “ironically” by holding on their WMDs.
